complete electronic igntion kit replaces contact breaker points and condensor. no maintenance is required. an infrared beam is interrupted by the rotation of a chopper fitted to the distributor shaft, providing a fixed dwell which results in a stronger and more consistent spark, and therefore improves engine running and fuel efficiency. it is immune to dirt and dust and distributor cam wear, has no moving parts to wear out and is maintenance free. kit includes all required parts, including the power module, optical switch and distributor-specific fitting kit
