ductile iron is an extremely heavy duty material which is used in high performance race engines. this extremely robust material offers significantly higher strength in the critical flange area of the liner. the design is unique in that it also incorporates a seal at the bottom of the liner.
manufactured by Darton Sleeves in the USA. NB minimum recommended quantity of 4 liners must be fitted the fitment of only 1 liner will distort the adjacent cylinders. it is the responsibility of the machine shop fitting these liners to ensure correct interference fit and piston clearance
