DELIVERY POLICY

PLEASE NOTE: This policy is applicable to
Online Orders placed through the website only.

We will dispatch your order by post or courier and will require a signature upon delivery. Within the UK, you can expect delivery within 7 working days unless the item has to be made to order (such as some canvas hoods, stainless steel exhausts etc.). Deliveries are made on weekdays Mon-Fri 8.30am to 6.00pm. You will only receive your goods on a Saturday if you have paid extra for a Saturday AM Service. Please note: Our Next Working Day delivery does not include Saturday delivery.

Our standard delivery charge does not provide for next day delivery, however every effort is made to dispatch items within 1-2 working days of receipt of order and payment.

International orders may take a little longer. Please contact us for information on overseas charges and deliveries.

Delivery costs vary and are dependant upon the weight and volumetric dimensions of the items dispatched. Our on-line ordering facility automatically works out this cost when you order the items and informs you of this cost before you check-out.

Rates of carriage are uniform across the UK Mainland with the exception of some remote areas in Scotland. An extra charge applies to all off-shore islands. These are accounted for in our on-line ordering system.

Please make sure that you provide the correct post code for your delivery address, as this will ensure that your goods are delivered as quickly and effectively as possible, as well as a daytime contact telephone number which we or the courier can contact you on.

Once you have placed an order, you will receive an email confirmation that the order is being processed. When we dispatch the goods you will receive another email notifying you of dispatch.

Orders sent within the UK mainland may be dispatched via by Fedex, Parcelforce, Royal Mail, DHL or UPS. You must arrange for someone at your given delivery address to be in and sign for the parcel on the expected delivery date. Where a parcel cannot be delivered, (e.g. no-one at home), the courier will leave a card with details of the phone number to call to arrange another delivery.

If the parcel does not arrive when you expect it then please don't hesitate to give us a call on 01507 609444 and we will do our best to liaise with the relevant courier to trace the parcel's whereabouts.

If your parcel cannot be delivered because nobody can sign for it within 5 days it will be returned to Famous Four. Should we then have to re-send the parcel, we reserve the right to re-charge the cost of re-delivery.

Famous Four relies upon the services of third party couriers for all of our deliveries. We always aim to carry out our delivery promises, but there are inevitably a few rare occasions when the couriers fail to perform the service that they are required to. We cannot be held responsible for the late delivery of an item in such circumstances. For the avoidance of doubt Famous Four will not refund the standard delivery charge if the courier has failed to deliver the item(s) on the anticipated delivery date, unless where an upgraded premium guaranteed service has been paid for and has failed to deliver within the pre-agreed timescale, a refund will be given equal to the difference in price between the premium guaranteed service and the standard non-guaranteed service price.

All Famous Four delivery prices are subject to VAT @ 20.00% as detailed on our on-line ordering system.

Please note: The price charged for delivery of any item includes the cost of postage, packaging materials and order processing costs. The postage price seen on the package represents only a part of these costs.
